Pros: sound, intonation, responsiveness, mechanical integrity
Cons: third valve slide collects water

This is absolutely the best all-around tuba I have played. I first decided that my main horn would be an F or an Eb, and then I played everything; at least 10 - 20 horns of this type. The Willson Eb won, I bought it, and I have not looked back.

The low range is full, and the horn can sound like a mid-bore BBb tuba if you want it to. The upper and middle range both sing.

The valves are Monel. They are tight and fast, and are ageing very very well. I have had this horn for almost 10 years now, and I have no regrets. Other copies of the same model I have played have consistently been good, as well.
