Pros: Bossy tone; more for your blowing buck on the high notes.
Cons: valves not flowing, but not quite "clunky" either

There was such a difference in the tone and ease of play with this horn compared to the Bundy, Bach, and Holton student trumpets I've always played, I was surprised to learn the 2320S is considered a "student" trumpet. Makes me apt to strongly consider Yamaha when I decide to upgrade.

Pros: Good intonation, good sound, good valves
Cons: Maybe a little tight

This was my first trumpet, and I still use it as a backup horn. The only issue I'd take with it as a professional player (now) is that it could be a little more open, to compete with the rest of the horn players in the section who're moving a lot of air. Otherwise, this is a horn worthy of a "10" rating. It's solid, and hasn't let me down yet, even after all these years.

Pros: Excellent student model
Cons: No 1st slide ring

Considering that the biggest variable is you this is a very versatile trumpet excellent for a beginner.Made between 1991 and 1998 and still very servicable.
